There is a bit of paperwork we have to get done ahead of time for pre-camp trainings and for you to be approved by the State of Colorado to work with children. Don’t worry, at first it may seem like a lot, but it really isn’t too bad. Every single person in the state of Colorado that works with children, from teachers and school volunteers to camp counselors, has to go through this process. There will be some things that might be a bit confusing, so please call us with questions (970.718.6008)! For fingerprinting, as an example, we can help! Please plan on completing the onboard process before the end of My. If you live in Europe, you won’t be able to get fingerprinted until you arrive in the US, so we will help you once you arrive.

Checklist of things that will need to be done:

  • Get fingerprinted and begin background check process

  • Register on PDIS and complete required courses

  • Complete and upload your W4 (So you can get paid!). Europeans, you won’t be able to do this yet without your social security number - you will get that once you are in the US.

  • Upload First Aid/CPR and other relevant certifications. Europeans, please check with us regarding which international certifications can be valid in the US.

  • Complete “get to know you” form

  • Background check (MOST TIMELY!)

  • PDIS (Colorado State) Childcare Portal

    These are required online trainings/forms the state of Colorado requires for camp staff. Please click HERE for instructions and what do do.

  • W4

    Please download and fill in your W4 (DOWNLOAD LINK) so we can set you up in Payroll. Upload the form HERE(Europeans skip this)

  • I9 Form

    You can fill in our I9 (Eligibility to work in the US) form once you arrive at camp. Please bring a copy/picture of your passport if you have one. (Europeans skip this)

  • Staff Signature Pages

    Please fill in the background check consent form as well as other childcare related statements HERE

  • Pre-Camp Staff Form

    Please fill in the getting to know you form which includes important information like emergency contacts, allergies, medical information, and dietary restrictions HERE

  • Certification Upload

    Please upload any relevant certifications “cards” such as CPR, FIRST AID, Lifeguard, Etc HERE
